“ The Taste of Himalayas is one of the best restaurants to try in Surrey. First and foremost, the quality of the food is outstanding. Their quick service and warm hospitality truly stand out. You can’t help but admire the beautiful wall paintings that depict the rich and vibrant culture of the Himalayas—adding a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience. Today, I ordered the Spicy Garlic Momos. The food was not oily, made with high-quality ingredients, and incredibly delicious. Despite living almost an hour away, I still make the trip regularly because their food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Himalayan cuisine. They’ve never asked for feedback like many other places do, but I felt compelled to leave this review simply because it deserves recognition. It’s a gem of a restaurant! ”
“ Long - but worth reading! As I recently traveled to Nepal i decided to visit the place and try perhaps the most famous Nepalese dish - momo. I was a skeptical at first, because most often what you have “there” you can’t have “here” - the taste might be somehow similar but not the same. And what a surprise! Their momo is 100% authentic and really delicious!! It’s 10/10 - absolutely no exaggeration! While waiting I had a chat with two super nice staff members - again, 100% Nepalese girls, who treated me with big smile and curtesy. So service is definitely 10/10. I can highly recommend this place - authentic delicious Nepalese cuisine prepared and served by real Nepalese. It a small restaurant and rather simple, so do not expect to be wowed by the ambiance but I am telling you - you will be amazed by the taste of food and great service! ”

“ One of the best naan ever tried in Greater Vancouver. I tried with Chicken curry. Spicy garlic Momo was great in flavours filled in with chicken or veg of our choice. Their wai wai noodles for $5 is an appetizer, that raw Maggie noodles in small pieces with chopped onion, tomato and lime juice. Rasmalai came in 2 balls, excellent taste for $3. Can’t wait to try out other dishes ! ”
“ I ordered the Momos Platter and Chicken Fried Rice from Taste of Himalaya. The Momos Platter was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I really enjoyed every bite! However, the Chicken Fried Rice was a bit of a letdown for me. It lacked spice and tasted quite plain—I was hoping for something with more masala and bold flavor. Overall, great experience with the momos, but the fried rice could use a little more punch. ”
